Hellion Days is a new horror project I’ve been developing that combines storytelling with the vent art I created earlier this year. In many ways, this project feels spiritually connected to my first major work, Bloody Sisters. Both stories explore trauma, emotional instability, and destructive relationships through dark imagery and psychological horror. However, unlike Bloody Sisters, which still carried traces of hope beneath the violence, Hellion Days is much darker in tone and may not have a happy ending at all.

The story centers around two survivors of a mass suicide connected to a notorious organization known as the Jisatsu Kai, also called “The Neighbors Club.” After the tragedy leaves most of the club dead, the remaining survivors are forced to confront what comes next. They must decide whether to rebuild the cult-like organization and continue the cycle of destruction, finish what their predecessors started, or attempt to move forward and live with the aftermath of what happened.

At the center of the story is a toxic sapphic relationship between the two protagonists, Noelle and Elise. Unlike the fraternal twin dynamic in Bloody Sisters, their relationship is rooted in obsession, codependency, grief, and emotional self-destruction. Through them, I want to explore how trauma can both connect and poison people at the same time.

While I already have concepts for Noelle and Elise, I am still developing the supporting cast. Some early characters include Nyaria, the 63rd leader of the club and daughter of the governor, Shayla Bibbi, and Marissa Leon, the former 23rd leader of the San Francisco branch. Each character represents a different perspective on the club’s legacy and the psychological damage it leaves behind.

More than anything, Hellion Days is a reflection of emotional exhaustion, survival, and the terrifying question of what happens after the end.
